Eli Lilly net income set to rise

Eli Lilly &said net income will rise in 2005 as the pharmaceutical company wins approvals for drugs to treat diabetes, incontinence and depression.

Eli Lilly net income set to rise

Net income will increase to $2.80 to $2.90 a share from a forecast of $2.13 to $2.20 for this year, Lilly said in a statement yesterday before a meeting with analysts in New York. Sales will rise 8% to 10%, the company said.
