Bank of Ireland sponsors Ulster in €1.7m deal

BANK of Ireland is to become the chief sponsor of the Ulster rugby team. The bank, which has previously sponsored the Munster rugby team, has agreed a €1.7 million three-year deal with the province.

It is believed to be the largest sponsorship deal ever announced in the North and will see the bank’s name and logo feature on the Ulster rugby team’s shirts.

Ulster Rugby chief executive Michael Reid said Bank of Ireland has been involved in sponsoring the team since 1997.
