Woodie’s DIY €6m programme

Woodie’s DIY and Garden Centres has yesterday announced a e6 million investment programme, reinforcing the company’s position as Ireland’s leading DIY retailer.

Developments announced today include, a new store location at a green-field site in Naas, Co Kildare, the replacement of an existing outlet in Bray, Co. Wicklow with a new larger store and the commencement of construction on the company’s green-field development in Kilkenny.

Commenting on the announcement at the opening of the company’s new store in Clonmel, Mr Ray Colman, chief executive, Woodie’s DIY, said that the company plans to continue its current successful expansion programme.
