Software company increases revenue

Sun Microsystems Inc has reported results for its fiscal fourth quarter and full fiscal year to June.

Revenues for the fourth quarter grew to $3.1 billion, an increase of 4.3% compared with $2.98 billion for the fourth quarter of fiscal 2003.

Total gross margin as percentage of revenues was 39.4%, a decrease of 4.3% on the fourth quarter of fiscal 2003.
