ISEQ finishes 10.22 points weaker
The index finished the day 10.22 points weaker at 4270.24.
Leading movers on the day were Anglo Irish Bank up 10c, Irish Life and Permanent 12c firmer at 9.52 and DCC 20c higher at 11.90. Main focus was on the construction stocks with Heitons reporting pre-tax profits of 9.123m for the year ended April 30. CRH, continuing its good run, gained 25c to 14.40 on thin volumes.
Ryanair was weaker, losing 6.59% following news that it’s passenger load factor was lower in June compared with the same month of 2002.
