Geldof production company quadruples profits

TEN Alps Communications, the television production company part owned by Bob Geldof, said profits in its last financial year quadrupled.

The London-listed company said pre-tax profit in the year to end March 2005 rose by 398% to £628,000 (€1 million) on turnover up 107% at £34.7m (€51.8m).

The company said it has produced a record number of shows, on both television and radio on all of the major British networks.
