HOMEBUY has announced the appointment of Bryan Tickner as new chief operating officer.

Mr Tickner qualified as a chartered accountant with KPMG in 1983 and has extensive previous experience at main PLC board level.

Earlier this month, Homebuy announced results showing that sales doubled and pre-tax earnings more than trebled in the year ended April 18.
