ISME calls for exemptions on small businesses

ISME, the independent business organisation, has called for an exemption from certain labour regulations for small business.

The organisation says increasing levels of bureaucracy, regulations and red tape are hurting small and medium sized businesses and stifling their ability to grow.

ISME chief executive Mark Fielding said it is, in effect, strangulation by regulation.
