British rail workers voted to strike over pay, pensions and travel benefits, a move that is likely to disrupt train services across the country. The strike dates haven’t been set.

Bob Crow, general secretary of the National Union of Rail, Maritime & Transport Workers said 58% of its members employed by Network Rail Ltd, the owner of the tracks and stations, voted in favour of a strike. The walkout will affect signalers and maintenance and station staff.
