Greenstar acquires recycling company

WASTE management company Greenstar has completed the acquisition of Seamus Kelly & Sons, a Wexford-based waste and recycling company.

Chief executive Steve Cowman said the company planned to spend up to €100 million on acquisitions, joint ventures and partnerships this year.

It bought seven companies between 2000 and 2003 and has successfully integrated then under the Greenstar brand.
