British jobs growth speeds up as employers retain extra summer staff

JOBS growth is set to accelerate in Britain over the coming months, according to a recruitment survey.

The Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) survey shows that a majority of employers (60%) plan to hire extra staff this summer.

The survey is the second quarterly monitor of employment intentions and will be published officially by the CIPD later this month.
