Laing O’Rourke get airport pier job
The Dublin Airport Authority said construction of Pier D, which will provide 14 new boarding gates, will get underway in the next few weeks.
The DAA has also appointed a consortium comprising Ové Arup, Pascall & Watson and Mace as project managers and designers for the planned second terminal at the airport.
“The Dublin Airport Development Programme is the largest capital investment ever undertaken by this company and in terms of the range of projects deliverable within a very tight timeframe at a working airport, probably one of the most complex in the history of the State,” DAA chief executive Declan Collier said.
