New appointment at NUI Galway

THE Governing Authority of NUI Galway has announced the appointment of Professor Roy Green as Vice-President for Research.

The Dean of the University’s Faculty of Commerce was appointed for a four-year term of office following a meeting of the college’s governing authority.

Professor Green will ensure that the University attracts competitive research funding, support and develop opportunities for researchers across all faculties, and also help protect intellectual property through a newly-established Technology Transfer Office.
