NTL benefits from price increases
The company, which provides cable services in Dublin, Galway and Waterford, said yesterday that it generated sales of £72.5 million (€108 million) and made profits of £25.4 million, a 72% increase on 2002.
NTL's Irish figures were boosted by the euro strengthening by almost 10% against sterling during the year. Revenues generated in Ireland were worth more when converted to sterling, the group's reporting currency.
