EBS urges care on mortgages

THE Educational Building Society has urged mortgage holders to manage their mortgages more effectively as interest rates rise.

The society is encouraging customers to better inform themselves on how any further rate increases will affect their monthly repayments, in order to allow them to change their spending patterns accordingly.
