Walsh Western International to invest €1m in service

Transport and logistics company Walsh Western International (WWI) has announced plans to invest up to €1m in a new transportation service that will combat freight crime.

WWI will strengthen security through improved training, hardware and construction.

WWI said its clients, particularly in the hi-tech and healthcare sector, required secure transportation of high value products.

The company has tailored its transportation services to cut the risk of theft by operating advanced satellite communications shipment tracking technology.
