Alphyra buys software firm
Itsmobile develops ways to pay for services using mobile phones and is best known for its role in mPARK, the payments system used to pay for street parking in Dublin, a service which was later launched in Edinburgh and Sydney.
Alphyra chief executive John Nagle said: “The acquisition of such a highly innovative firm provides a very logical fit for Alphyra.
“Itsmobile has technology which is proven in the field among high quality clients. In turn, Alphyra has the scale and international reach which is required to bring these technologies more rapidly to an even wider market.”
Itsmobile’s staff will transfer to Alphyra under the terms of the deal.
