Capital Radio buys GWR for £341m

Capital Radio, Britain’s biggest commercial radio broadcaster, has agreed to buy GWR Group for about £341 million to reduce costs and boost advertising revenue.

Capital Radio shareholders will own 52% of the combined company and GWR’s shareholders will own the rest.
