Telecom service provider Smart Telecom is to create 60 jobs in a new call centre in Dublin’s Baggot Street.

The centre will bring to 330 the total number of people employed by the company, which also has operations in Dublin’s Citywest Business Park and Carrigtwohill, Co Cork.

Smart chief executive Oisin Fanning said: “The 60 new employees will be located in our brand new city centre call centre and they will work to help us achieve our target of signing up 70,000 customers by the end of this year.”
