How to deal with grief at work

THE Irish Hospice Foundation (IHF) has announced details of its 2006 Lunch and Learn series of seminars which aim to support managers and human resource personnel in managing grief in the workplace.

Nearly 300,000 people are directly affected by bereavement every year in Ireland. It is estimated that about one-in-10 of the working population is directly affected by death each year while one in 25 workers is caring for seriously ill relatives.
