Gains in Ghana for Africa Gold

Publicly-quoted exploration company African Gold reported positive news for shareholders from a gold project in the west African state of Ghana.

The Konongo/Owere site had delivered “economic” gold grades from all 21 drill holes that had been analysed so far, the company said. Co-chairman Oliver Baring said: “This news puts us on track to proving up more than 1 million ounces of gold from our operations in Ghana in 2005”.
