He is hoping to attract 10,000 members to The Sporting Emporium in the next 12 months.
The casino off Grafton Street, a 12,000sq ft complex spread over three floors, also contains a licensed betting office - owned by Chronicle Bookmakers, which is part of Mr Desmond’s empire.
