IBEC calls for waste crisis to top State agenda

IBEC has called for the response to the waste management crisis to be placed at the top of the national agenda.

As the catalogue of illegal dumping grows, IBEC said the only answer is the immediate establishment of a National Waste Management Authority as a matter of extreme urgency.

The employer body says an investment of well over 1 billion is required to drive this agenda forward.
