Partner sought for €50m hotel revamp

The Aer Rianta-owned Great Southern Hotels group is seeking a private sector partner to finance a €50 million-plus redevelopment of Parknasilla Hotel in County Kerry.

Parknasilla wants to extend the existing four star property and build a series of holiday homes and apartments on the hotel’s magnificent 300-acre site.

The plans also include a 20-berth marine, six new holes for the existing 12-hole golf course, an extensive new clubhouse and a new leisure centre.
