Minco starts drill at Limerick site

AIM-quoted Minco has started a drilling programme at its Pallas Green zinc-lead project in Limerick.

The project is in a 25/75 joint venture with Canadian company Noranda and covers a 300 sq km site that lies within 45 km of the Lisheen mine in Tipperary.

Minco chairman Roger Turner said: “The Pallas Green property remains one of the best exploration targets for zinc and lead mineralisation in Ireland.”
