UCC top recipient of research fund

UNIVERSITY College Cork has become the number one recipient of funding under the EU’s prestigious Marie Curie research programme.

The college has secured almost €4m since the programme began.

College research teams benefiting from the funding include environmental chemistry, nanotechnology, electrical engineering, marine engineering and food science.
