Enterprise Ireland start-up success

A SURVEY of nearly 500 high-potential start-up (HPSU) companies, supported by Enterprise Ireland between 1989 and 2004, has shown a success rate beyond expectations.

Total equity invested over the 15 years was €82.3 million, which has since realised €103.4m through sale on the commercial market.

This, along with shares held by Enterprise Ireland, means they have more than doubled their money.
