BRITISH stocks including BP Plc fell after Europe’s largest oil producer reported a drop in first-quarter profit.

The FTSE 100 Index slipped 12.1, or 0.2%, to 6,086.6, even as more stocks rose than fell.

The FTSE All-Share Index lost 0.1% to 3106.03.

Tesco declined as profit growth slowed for Britain’s largest supermarket.
