The CAC 40 Index climbed 17.97, or 0.5%, to 3834.11 in Paris, for its first gain this week. Trading on the CAC was 3.7% higher than the three-month daily average. The SBF 120 Index added 0.5% to 2725.04. CAC futures increased 0.4%.
