Conference to focus on south-east

TOP industry speakers will join Transport Minister Martin Cullen and the business community of the south-east today to discuss the changes needed to contribute to a turn-around in the economic fortune of the region.

Vision South East 2020, a conference being hosted by Waterford Chamber, will provide a forum for examining the opportunities for future prosperity in the region.

A recent report has indicated that more than 700 jobs and in excess of €97m could be generated in the region if an application for a university for Waterford is granted.
