Carmaker charged in rebate denial

PSA Peugeot Citroen, Europe’s second- largest carmaker, was charged by European Union regulators for breaking EU anti-trust law by denying rebates to German and Dutch dealers selling cars to foreigners.

The commission, the EU’s executive arm, is also conducting antitrust investigations into Audi AG, Volkswagen AG’s luxury car unit, and Bayerische Motoren Werke AG.
