Airport board gets Chamber welcome

The Cork Chamber of Commerce has welcomed the appointment of board members to run the airport authority.

Chamber president Robin O’Sullivan said the new members of the Cork Airport Authority had a diverse range of experience.

But he added that “it is somewhat disappointing that the minister has not included nominees with more aviation expertise, particularly international expertise, which we recommended to the minister in our written submission and during discussions.”
