888 says flotation plan is on track

THE flotation of online casino 888 is on track and there are no plans to cut the valuation of the group, a spokeswoman said on Sunday, knocking down talk the listing could be cut in value or even cancelled.

"Marketing starts on Thursday. We certainly haven't talked about slashing valuations at all," she said.

888 is expected to be worth more than £700m (€1.03bn) when it lists on the London Stock Exchange this month, but concerns about arose when internet poker group PartyGaming warned of slowing growth.
