Troubled computer security company Baltimore Technologies, which recently announced plans to reinvent itself as an energy concern, will hold the extraordinary general meeting requested by its major shareholder on May 6.

Acquisitor Holdings, which owns more than 12% of Baltimore, wants to clear out the Baltimore board and install its own choice of directors to turn the company’s prospects around.

Baltimore also said four new directors, David Weaver, Alfredo Goyannes, John Uttley and James Huston, would take up their positions as soon as the company’s annual accounts were filed.
