Ulster Bank launches bond

ULSTER BANK yesterday launched its latest Equity Growth Bond.

The six-year bond offers 100% capital security at maturity and a minimum return of 10% gross, the equivalent of 1.62% CAR, or 50% of the combined performance of six blue-chip stock market indices.

Investors will be exposed to movements in the Eurostoxx 50, FTSE 100, S&P 500, the Nikkei 225 in Japan, Hong Kong’s Hang Seng and Switzerland’s SMI. The minimum investment is €3,500 but withdrawals over the term are not allowed.
