Ryanair is partly reversing plans to expand in Italy due to a dispute with airport authorities in Milan, the low-cost airline has said.

Ryanair, which announced plans in November to expand in Italy, said it would not add a fifth aircraft at Milan’s Bergamo airport as planned and would cancel three regular flights on routes from Milan.

“All our growth and cost projections for fiscal 2005/2006 remain unaffected,” chief executive Michael O’Leary said on Friday.
