AGI names director but profits slide

AGI Therapeutics, the Irish Stock Exchange-listed specialist drugs firm, has appointed David G Kelly as director and chief financial officer.

Mr Kelly, a chartered accountant, was most recently senior vice president of Warner Chilcott (formerly Galen).

AGI yesterday posted losses for 2005 of €5.2m, up from €3.1m in 2004.
