€5.4m trade plan seeks Irish backers

UCD Smurfit School of Business has invited Irish firms to join a €5.4 million global trade technology project.

Irish companies are being asked to participate in a new EU-funded research project aimed at slashing administrative red tape encountered during the export process.

Researchers from UCD Smurfit School of Business have been awarded €450,000 to study how “e-government” practices and systems can improve the way tax and customs information is exchanged between business and public administrations.
