Rolls targets 1,000 Phantom sales

Rolls-Royce Motor Cars said it has sold more than 600 of its Phantom cars since the beginning of the year.

“Our target is 800 to 1,000 worldwide” for the year, Colin Kelly, Rolls-Royce’s regional director for Asia-Pacific, said in an interview. Markets in the region including Japan, China and India will make up between 15% and 20% of the total, he said.

Rolls-Royce said last month it plans to build a new convertible car, expanding its product range to two models.
