More than 30,000 PRSAs taken out

The Pensions Board says that 32,920 Personal Retirement Savings Accounts (PRSA) have been taken out so far.

In its latest update, the Pensions Board said the figures comprises 26,154 standard PRSAs and 6,766 non-standard accounts with a total asset value of €83.6 million.

At the end of June some 62,000 employers had signed up with a PRSA provider under the mandatory access requirements.
