The project will bring together scientists from UCD's Conway Institute, which conducts biomedical research, Trinity College Dublin and Wyeth's Neuroscience Discovery Group. SFI, which is the agency responsible for distributing government funding throughout the scientific community, said the project would be the most comprehensive of its kind in the country and was part of an ongoing programme to encourage key industry players to get involved in research initiatives in Ireland.
