RTÉ radio launches business show

RTÉ 1 takes on Today FM in a battle of the business programmes at 11.30am this morning with the launch of The Business radio show.

The show will be presented by John Murray and Robert Shortt from the station’s business unit which supplies business news to RTÉ news programmes throughout the week.

Presenter John Murray said the station recognised a gap in the schedule and saw a need to take on rival Today FM. He said personal finance issues will provide topics for the programme on an ongoing basis.
