200,000 use credit card, says Ryanair

More than 200,000 people now carry the Ryanair credit card, the airline said yesterday. The card was launched in February 2003 and has 2,500 applications per week, it says.

Ryanair head of communications Paul Fitzsimmons said:

“Since the launch of the Ryanair MBNA credit card in February 2003 over 200,000 people have signed up to avail themselves of the free flights offer and other benefits.” The Ryanair credit card allows users a free flight on more than 140 Ryanair routes.
