ACCA presidents will be women

In 2004, the Presidents of ACCA Ireland’s five member networks will be women. This is a first for a major professional body and recognises the inroads which women have made into the accountancy profession over the past number of years.

To celebrate this fact and to coincide with International Women’s Day (Mon 8 March) the President of Ireland, Mary McAleese, is guest of honour at a charity lunch hosted by ACCA Ireland and will meet the five young and dynamic Presidents.

Other guests will also include several well-known women in the financial and public sector.
