Eircom board meets over Babcock bid

EIRCOM’S board was due to meet yesterday to discuss the opening of its books to allow prospective bidder Babcock & Brown to begin due diligence.

Representatives of Babcock have reportedly met the Government and the telecommunications regulator in recent days.
