An Post deal not to be investigated

BRITISH competition watchdogs have announced they will not conduct an investigation into the takeover of An Post’s transaction services business by payments specialist Alphyra.

The deal was first announced in March. The Office of Fair Trade said the merger of the two businesses would not result in a situation that fell under the terms of competition law in Britain.
