Market buoyed by strong trading

SHARES in Ireland rose for the fourth consecutive day. The ISEQ added 95.33 points to 9586.54.

Market buoyed by strong trading

AIB gained 14c to €18.54. Bank of Ireland finished up at €14.09. Irish Life and Permanent crossed the line at €17.40. Anglo Irish advanced 15c closing to €13.10. The firm announced record profits in 2005 at the agm yesterday.

Construction giant CRH climbed 27c to €26.07. Grafton Group and Kingspan Group were both winners gaining 24c and 25c consecutively crossing the line at €9.80 and €11.50.
