Shell expansion in Mideast

ROYAL DUTCH/SHELL said it signed an initial agreement with Abu Dhabi state-owned Mubadala Development to pave the way for joint projects in the Middle East and North Africa.

Shell said in a statement that “strategic partnership between the two companies ... is expected to include co-operation in the development of available and new hydrocarbon resources.”
