THE man behind the marketing campaign that launched the first ever internet only bank in the Irish market has been awarded with the Marketer of the Year Award 2005.

The company’s general manager Greg McAweeney was presented with the award at a function in Dublin’s Clarence Hotel yesterday.

RaboDirect’s has attracted €250m in deposits in the six months since its launch in the Irish market, representing a 250% over-delivery on targets.
