DRUG giant Wyeth has announced a €13 million investment in research and development capability in Ireland.

The Protein Discovery and Optimisation Laboratory at the Conway Institute in UCD will assist in drug discovery in all major classes of biopharmaceutical products.

Twelve scientists will work in the laboratory.
